This page is reserved for new applicants, current collaborative students, graduates and university partners of the NC Child Welfare Education Collaborative program.

New applicants: The Collaborative welcomes applications from social work students interested in a career in public child welfare work and who are currently enrolled at a participating university. Only a student from a participating university may apply. Students interested in participating in CWEC must contact their University Coordinator for approval prior to submitting an application.

Important Deadlines for Spring 2027 semester:

• BSW Applications for the spring semester are due by Monday, September 28, 2026.
• MSW Applications for the spring semester are due by Friday, October 9, 2026.
• MSW Advance Standing Applications for the spring semester are due by Friday, November 13, 2026.
